Heiko Ossig completed his studies at the Osnabrück Conservatory, at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater and at the Malmö University of Music. He regularly performs alongside outstanding artists, such as the soprano Nuria Rial, the casalQuartett, the violinist Rodrigo Reichel or the actor Stefan Kurt. As a soloist he has made a name for himself through concerts with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Krakow Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Harvestehude Chamber Choir, the Bergedorf Chamber Choir, the Malmö Chamber Choir, the Chicago Chamber Choir, the Vancouver Chamber Choir and the GHOSTLIGHT Chorus New York, among others.

Heiko Ossig is a frequent guest at renowned music festivals and music series, including the 1st International Music Festival Hamburg, the Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, the Gezeitenkonzerte, the NDR Kammerkonzerte, the NDR Foyerkonzerte, NDR das neue werk and guitar festivals in Germany and abroad. That he is not exclusively on classical stages is shown by his performances at the Jazzclub Reigen (Vienna) and the Hot House (Chicago), among others. With the formation Four Styles he performed at the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Philharmonie Berlin, the Glocke Bremen and the Laeiszhalle Hamburg.

Heiko Ossig teaches at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg and was a lecturer at the University of Music and Theatre Rostock from 2011 to 2019.
